J.K. Rowling, famous for being the author of the Harry Potter novels was on public assistance and was waitressing when she was writing the first book of what was to become one of the best selling series in history.

The only reason the books got published was because a CEO's eight year old daughter begged him to publish it. The book was rejected by a dozen publishers. "Failure meant a stripping away of the inessential." - J.K Rowling it.

Ashley Paul - 'Joanne's persistence through consistent failure shows how she held on when others may have given up. She not only believed in her idea but herself even when others didn’t!'
